Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right. You can see all of our official policies in the terms and policies section of our website.

We are unable to ship anywhere outside of the UK at the moment. Sorry for any inconveniences this might cause.

Books that are in stock are usually dispatched within 24–48 hours and sent directly from our supplier to your door.

I share a supplier with hundreds of other indie bookshops and manually check stock daily. Because stock doesn’t always update automatically, there may be rare moments where another shop has bought the last copies before my website refreshes.

If that happens, I’ll email you straight away and place your book on back order. Back‑order items might take 2–3 weeks to arrive.

If your order contains a mix of in‑stock and back‑order titles, they’ll be shipped separately at no extra cost, so you’re not waiting unnecessarily.

The best way to stay notified of upcoming events is to follow our socials (@thebookloverclub.uk). You can join our online book club or by your ticket for The Romantasy Retreat on the website. All other events are currently completed or fully booked. If you are interested in hosting your own, in-person 'Book Lover Club', email Zoe for a host pack and discount code. Host pack is a one-off fee of £20.
